http://www...........

This past 3 weeks, I think I've spent way (way!) too much time on the internet. I've literally read so much crap I can have a conversation with any member of the TMZ or CNN production team!

Yes, ISMA are still considered to be idiots (Though less popular than Raja Bomoh)! Yes, Liverpool were THAAAAAT close to it finally being their season! Yes, Malaysia has it's own Hawkeye but that douche only ever came close to bringing a poor little Rottie down! Yes, Solange went all 'Street Fighter' on Jay Z! Yes, Michael Sam went for the full nine yards with his boyfriend on NFL draft day! Yes, Mrs. Obama thinks #hastagging CAN make a difference! Yes, the new Batman looks like he's on steroids! Yes, Najib thinks Human-Right'ism is on a full-blown warfare against Islam (he's also less popular than Raja Bomoh)! *phhheeeewwww.......

All being said and done, can't we all just get along; don't we all live under the same, uhmmm... Facebook?

I've got a thousand people on Facebook! A third I know, another third I don't know and the last third doesn't know me at all. But, but having spent all this time just jumping from one website to another and eventually just ending up back on Facebook, I've made an observation. It always boils down to two types of people..

There are those who wanna bitch slap ISMA and then those who wanna pat then on the back. There are those who are genuinely sad that Liverpool didn't win the league and then there are those who think Liverpool are just sad in the league. There are those who wants to take an arrow to our local Hawkeye and then there are those who'd just bring up religion again. There are those who are eager to find out what Jay Z said to Solange and then there are those who are wondering who's Solange. There are those who think Michael Sam did an absolute disgusting thing on ESPN and then there are those who are wondering what cake was it they were having. There are those, like Michelle Obama who believe taking to social media can make a difference and then there are those who miss the good old days when the internet was just for porn. There are people who've gone through hell and back to protect human rights and then there are people who've started wars to prevent basic human rights to prevail.

There's always just two types of people. And I think people who don't take a stand neither live, nor perish. If you've chosen to be invisible, you've doomed your neighbours too!

p.s; I like the new Batman!

A Dash Of This & That

Can be a very very powerful tool!

It can burn you to a cinder or.... It can give you the rocket juice to soar to the skies.

I guess it all depends how you use it.

KABOOM!

Growing up, I learned a lot from Lt. Col. Frank Slade. But one lesson eluded me;

"Well, gentlemen, when the shit hits the fan, some guys run and some guys stay"

Things blow up all the time when I'm around. I've always ran, I've always taken the easy way out. Who am I kidding, the easy way out is after-all EASY!

"When the going gets tough, stay calm, stay focused! Most importantly, STAY...!"

No more running, I've come to point where I can see now that every time I've ran, I've just lost a little part of me. I just leave huge chunks of who I am behind to save my hide. At the end of the day, what am I saving it for when I can no longer recognize myself?

5 years I've spent running now, it's time to stop, face the fire and move upward and forward. I discovered a thing or two about me'self. I've been dealt with switches and not dials like most people. But also unlike most people, I've been gifted with a switch that goes, "LEFT-TANK" and "RIGHT-TANK" and only then "OFF". This new found discovery couldn't have come at a better time!

Drive and discipline; two key ingredients to be acknowledged for who and what I am, no more, no less. Not for acclaim, not for approval, but, the simple truth of that recognition in myself that I am true to myself to go all the way for myself and by myself. I've fixed myself, reinvented myself, reestablished myself in the past but all for the wrong reason or more importantly for the wrong people. There's nothing wrong in doing something for someone else. No greater sacrifice than that and it's mighty admirable. BUT... You gotta do somethings more importantly for yourself.

It's all good; bring on 2014 I say....

*Merry Christmas Everyone - Santa came in to town, brought me a sense of self preservation and ownership!*

Walter White

Only now that it has ended am I starting to watch it. What's the fuss all about? 3 episodes into it and I'm constantly looking at my download bar;

"Why is it taking so friggin' long to complete downloading?!"

I See Better Through My Lens...

...Then my somewhat useless eyes

13-08-13

Although I'm not a fan of my birthdays, I am a fan of my friends and I am deeply overwhelmed by all the wishes I was getting yesterday. I got calls, text messages, Facebook messages coming in from all over the world and it was amazingly heart warming.

And to those 3 darling ladies who took me out for dinner last night, I have nothing but all the love in the world for you guys! Thank you!

Cabbies Unite!

A few weeks ago a friend and I decided to catch a midnight movie. So we headed over to KLCC and it was around 10:30pm, my friend pulled over outside KLCC while I ran in to collect the tickets. As I was making my way in I saw a Middle Eastern young dude beating the crap out of an elderly white male. The cabbies outside of KLCC were on-looking and pleading with the Iranian looking guy to stop. I was a little upset that they didn't stop him from hitting that elderly guy. I stepped in and pulled the other guy off the elderly man. And the Iranian took a swing at me and although I avoided it I think that was one swing he would regret for the rest of his life. The on-looking cabbies got really riled up as he took a swing at me and jumped him! They probably gave him a few broken ribs and a black eye. I then told then elderly white guy, who claims to be an American, to get the hell out of there and head to a police station and report the incident. The cabbies showed great spirit when a Malaysian was attacked by a foreigner and I can appreciate that a little. I only wished they had reacted sooner to calm the situation before it got into a fist fight.

Judgement Day

I have often taken pride in myself for being a certain way. Two of them are one; being brutally honest and second; being non-judgemental.

The problem with being non-judgemental is that as time goes by, you start behaving in a certain way. That is constantly switched off and you start to say and do stupid things. I cannot stress how constantly constant those stupid moments come up with me.

For one, I presumed that since I'm not passing judgement all 'my loyal subjects' that they won't pass judgement on me AND boy, was I wrong or was I wrong!

Mid Season Review

It has been working like clockwork since get go!

This year, I discovered I'm wired differently. I'm flawed in more ways than one but... Flawed in a good way!  You cannot imagine how deliriously excited I am to be at peace with this. For the first time in my life I've decided (and stuck to it like glue) not to drag anyone else into this flawed cyclone!

I've discovered a voice that I've lost over the years! Turns out I didn't lose it, some dipshit just turned the knob all the way down and didn't tell me!

I've discovered that I'm passionate about changing this godforsaken country I live in. I can see a wave of change coming thru. Tell you now, I'm riding this wave! So not gonna beach bum this one!

Business is booming, can't say nor complain much there!

Losing that Bulat edge I've built up over the year, slowly and steadily but the wheels ARE turning..!

I like this positive review, for years now there hasn't been a review like this! But I am a pessimist, so I know a double edged sword is awaiting me at one of these blind corners.....

GE13 Throwback

2013 has been an eye opener for me thus far and that's the least I can say. I am now more politically aware of what are our parliamentary issues, I understand the constitution better. I've developed a new sense of notion and respect for the fight for democracy and liberty. But above all I am more aware of my rights as citizen of Malaysia and that you cannot put price tag on!

Let's get back to work, I've got a lot to do...

Married With Children

When asked, my father replied:
"I want to celebrate my birthday with my children"

He then sat down and ate dinner with his wife and children. Happy 66th Dad!

Among all the values that my parents have taught me and instilled in me, the one I treasure the most is to have unconditional love for dogs, like they do us.

Power To The People!

I was asked today;

"Why are you so pro PKR suddenly? Why are you so diligently campaigning on Facebook for people to come out and vote? Weren't you the one, a few months ago who said that even if you don't vote you still have rights in this country? You even condemned the Bersih rallies and now you are supporting them?"

I am not pro PKR, I am pro fair, just, appropriate, condign, conscientious, deserved, due, equitable, ethical, fitting, good, honest, honorable, justifiable, lawful, legitimate, merited, moral, proper, requisite, righteous, rightful, scrupulous, stand-up, suitable, true, upright, virtuous... You take your pick! Those are all the definition and synonyms for RIGHT.

Why am I a keyboard warrior on Facebook? Well for one, this is my bloody wall and I'll say whatever the fuck I wanna say! Secondly, I was never a registered voter until I found out in January that I am and have been voting since 2003! Nobody has the rights to take away what's mine! So this term, I'm voting the cowards who've been misusing my votes all these years OUT of parliament!

I still believe that even if you're not voting in the coming PRU13 every single honest, tax-paying CITIZEN of this country has the right to question the administration of Malaysia come tomorrow. Voting gives you the opportunity to have YOUR say as to whom you think can administrate this country well, citizenship gives you the constitutional right to question the manner YOUR country is run! Period! I pay my taxes, I abide by the law and that entitles me to EVERYTHING that's good and honest.

I still don't think the Bersih rallies were a good idea. We were up against a regime of evil called UMNO and Barisan Nasional, do you really think by marching to the Dataran Merdeka would've made a difference? If yes then that's where you and I have a difference of an opinion. Unity and awareness was already there, people were already willing to come out in the masses to stand up for what Bersih stood for. There was no need to for us to walk straight into swinging batons and stomping police brutality. I can tell by the number of my friends who went out for the Bersih Rally that it was filled with smart people. We could've outsmarted the government and the cops! I support what Bersih stands for, I respect Ambiga for having the courage to speak up against the SPR for the way they've been handling the elections all these years.

I'm sick and tired of mainstream media being manipulated. My intelligence is being insulted when I read about 'anak menteri' gets multi-billion dollar contracts. I am broke from buying a Japanese car cause I refuse to buy the crap piece of shit on wheels they call Proton Saga! I cannot afford to buy a house like my father did, or like his father did and that depresses me! I am up to my neck when I see inefficiency and ineffectiveness run rampant in my city when it comes from traffic to planning to buildings to systems and the people behind all these things. I want fear to be instilled in all government servants, if you can't serve the people, you're OUTTA HERE!

So to quote what's been already said by many; JOM UBAH!

Exit Left

"I gotta get the hell outta here!"

What is it lately that all I wanna do after is burn rubber to higher ground? It's like I've just opened fire on enemy grounds and I need to get behind my castle walls for protection...

No walk of shame!

Instaholic

What is it about the digital age and food. I fail to see the correlation but there is one smack right in our faces and thats pretty obvious.

I'll admit to be the first to always wanna whip out my camera before my appetite. Now is the obsession on the platter or photography. Food or pixels? Or is it sociological?

I read somewhere recently that the habit of posting up stuff on be it Instagram or Facebook is to gloat, it's a sense virtual wealth by association. For instance if I had a Ferrari drive by me, I'd wanna take a picture of that bugger and why doesn't a Nissan Sunny get the same reaction, simple; it's simply not fab enough for my Facebook wall.

And the same goes with food. Food is often associated with wealth. You've got some extra change in your pockets, you dine well. If it's that time of the month when everything is tight, you dine like a beggar. That's pretty common among people my age in Kuala Lumpur. And maybe, just maybe the act of pixalating that dinner is actually an act of flaunting ones wealth.

So now I just feel absolutely horrible for all the times I've taken a picture of scrumptious food and posted it up on social media websites. I know I enjoyed taking the picture, but what's the point to all of it? Didn't benefit me one bit....

The One Flag That Matters!

How does flooding the streets with your political party flags help you win an election?

This is kampung mentality at it's supreme best!

The people gave you a chance to make a difference 5 years ago, if you would've done a good job, right now you can put your feet up, smoke a cigar and just count down the days till you take to office again!

And the same goes to the opposition parties; if the current ruling party are half baked morons who pocketed the people's money, plagued this country with economical downfall, promoted backward thinking, corrupt and should be voted out. Then your facts should speak for itself. Your flags are just a waste of money and is plain simple an eye sore at our neighborhoods!

I see blue flags, I see green flags, I see yellow flags, I see red flags... The one flag that matters shouldn't be one losing out in this rat race!
